Belonging to a young couple, the apartment has a fresh feel that’s warmed by swathes of natural wood tone and smoothly rounded silhouettes. The homeowners have a passion for design objects, art, music, fashion, travel, and mid-century modern architecture. This spirit is evident in the succinct sense of style that’s revealed throughout the 90-square-meter residence. The owners developed their inviting interior style with the help of designers Anna Wigandt, Lena Kurasevichi, and Денис Каунов at Anthem Group. The team ushered in organically curved boundaries to evoke a welcoming ambiance and incorporated striking white marble to elevate the scheme.
Immediately from the entryway of the home, rounded walls create a soft and welcoming flow. Crisp white walls give way to warm wooden paneling that smoothly merges with a wooden kitchen installation.
Chevron wood flooring brings a subtle pattern to the minimalist home interior. A small wooden stool adds convenient seating to the home entryway. A unique wall mirror provides a place to check appearances before leaving home; its glossy black frame creates a modern juxtaposition with the natural wooden paneling behind.
A freeform wooden coffee table nestles low in front of the white modular sofa, sinking sturdy black feet into a textured area rug. A black and white cover coffee table book provides simple adornment.
At the other end of the small sofa, a slimline black floor reading lamp provides task lighting. An iconic Flos Taccia table lamp, designed by Achille Giacomo and Pier Castiglioni in ‘62, draws attention from a low wooden bench behind the couch.
The TV is housed on slender black tension shelving, along with a host of decorative vases and books. Lightweight beige drapes frame two large windows, melding gently into color-matched living room walls.

Two globe wall sconces light the first nightstand. The opposite side of the room is furnished with a more curvaceous side table to achieve a subtly asymmetrical layout. A tasseled rug peeps out from under the bed, providing a soft landing each morning.
