Three modern homes measuring under 65 square metres, each styled in their own very unique and lively character. Our first home has a mid century modern spirit with a bright and breezy mix of furniture, and a beautiful glass bedroom design under wooden arches. Tour number two shows how soul warming an earthy textured palette can be, and comes complete with inspirational mood boards for each individual room of the apartment. Lastly we tour a minimalist interior design that’s uplifted with a bright red and blue accented colour scheme, where combined space demonstrates how even small floor plans can pull off a relaxed flow.
Project ‘T-flat’ is a 65 square metre home in Moscow, Russian Federation. The mid century modern living living room is a bright and breezy space with a cheery mix of furniture. Indoor plants fill in the blank spaces.

The glass wall bedroom is unique and elegant design, with panes of glass held within slender wooden arches.
5 |
Just off the entry to the bedroom, a home workspace slots comfortably into the narrow remainder of floor space. Wooden bookshelves lean against the walls without disrupting original skirting boards or ceiling cornice.
6 |
At the opposite end, a small dining room is situated by the kitchen.

A roundpedestal dining table complements a beautifully curved wall structure at the entrance to the kitchen diner.
8 |
The white kitchen design falls lightly into the background of the dining area, picked out only by contrasting wooden wine storage, art, and a shelf mounted black swing arm wall lamp.

The floor plan reveals that the curved kitchen wall conceals a compact bathroom.
Our second 65 square metre interior is located in Athens, Greece. Originally, the dwelling was a 95 square metre house, and this was divided into two smaller apartments. The client’s taste steered a decor palette of very warm beige and brown shades, with hints of industrial design. An L-shape russet brown sofa wraps the cosy living room, whilst a sputnik chandelier and Atollo lamp bring gold lustre.

The dark wood master bedroom scheme is uplifted with terracotta accents in the bed throw and wall art. Vibia Wireflowbedroom pendant lights make subtle additions at either side of the upholstered platform bed.
Our final tour is a smart 64 square metre apartment, located in Kyiv, Ukraine. The project was inspired by the works of Le Corbusier, with emphasis on the concept of “less is more”. The homeowner would keep nothing but the necessities, and combine a relaxation zone, workspace and gym into one single space. A red sofa dominates the common area, with everything else removed except for a plain white modern wall sconce.
Floor to ceiling windows drink in a maximum dose of natural light.

A slender oak media unit floats in the blank white space beneath a wall mounted TV set, with a single games console to disrupt the emptiness.
30 |
The kitchen peninsula edges into the lounge area, overlapping the wood floor there. Around the corner, coat hooks and a hallway mirror make up a useful entry space.
31 |
Blue decor spills over onto an interior door in the hallway.
32 |
Inside the bedroom there is a peaceful palette of grey and white. A black knitted runner and throw pillow add prominence to the bed.
33 |
A unique desk carves out a workspace by the windows. A pendant light keeps the desktop free of table lamp clutter.
34 |
A dividing wall at the foot of the bed separates the sleep space from a small gym area. A modern fireplace transforms the characterless wall into a special feature of the room, whilst the double sided glass fireplace screen reveals just a glimpse to the other side.
35 |
A second workspace resides next to the exercise equipment.
36 |
An ergonomic computer chair pulls up to the triple monitor workstation setup.
37 |
Inside the bathroom, a black bathtub and grey toilet rest darkly against oversized concrete tiles.
38 |
The shower room has beats of red from colour changing LEDs around the room perimeter and vanity mirror, and a unique red wall mounted toilet.

Concrete tiles add the industrial touch.

A recessed shelf glows ominously red inside the shower scene.
