This house rests at Buchupureo, VIII Region, Chile. Although it was built on a moderate budget, this house on a cliff successfully incorporated natural as well as contemporary elements with ease.
Nestled far away in a land that is still unclaimed by civilization, the view from the house in breath taking, to say the least. This house is surely one of it’s kind, but keep a look out for some more scintillating designs here.

I’d like to pick it up and drop it onto my wooded six acres in East Texas. Since I’m afraid of heights, teetering on the side of a cliff would not be ideal.

I think so, so quiet the place is, and this is the dream home for me. Adding a hammok in the picuture will be better then.

Well, it’s no wonder that the original site never mentions it’s on “unclaimed land”, since there’s no such thing on southern Chile. The building on the background is probably the main house.

Think it’s beautiful….but I would be flat on the floor, hanging on for dear life, the entire time I was there.
) A tad bit leery on the heights thing, or more so, the cliff thing! And I agree with George (“what if the dog were to chase a ball”) and hosd (“not for sleep walkers”), yikes!! It does have a stunning, “airy” view though.
